Sex-assault suspect in custody; other possible victims urged to come forward

Metro Police are searching for additional potential victims of sexual assault suspect Johnny Levon Johnson.

Metro arrested Johnson, 29, after a woman reported that she had been the victim of a robbery and sexual assault on July 30. The woman claimed the suspect had identified himself as an undercover officer, police said.

Detectives are also investigating another incident on July 13 at a high-rise residential building in the 4500 block of Dean Martin Drive that they believe Johnson had contact with the unknown potential victim.

Johnson is currently booked at the Clark county Detention Center where he is charged with two counts of first-degree kidnapping, three counts of sexual assault, two counts of robbery, oppression under color of office with threat of force and burglary.

Police urge anyone who may have been a victim of Johnson to call Metro Sexual Assault at 828-3422, or to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555, or crimestoppersofnv.com.
