A rollover crash early Thursday halted traffic when officers found a suspicious package in the vehicle, Metro Police said.
The sport utility vehicle rolled over about 2:20 a.m. on Spring Mountain Road and Duneville Street, between Jones and Decatur boulevards, Metro Officer Laura Meltzer said.
Police called bomb disposal officers to handle the package, she said. She did not say what was in the package.
The investigation halted traffic in the area for several hours. The driver was transported to University Medical Center, police said.
