3-run third inning fuels Fresno to win over 51s

The Fresno Grizzlies used a three-run third inning to pick up a 4-1 victory over the Las Vegas 51s on Tuesday.

Josh Satin hit a solo home run in the second inning for Las Vegas, which scattered 10 hits. Satin went 2-for-4 with a run and an RBI.

Zack Wheeler took the loss for Las Vegas (4-2), going 5 1/3 innings. He allowed one earned run on eight hits and struck out six.

Carter Jurica went 2-for-3 for Fresno (3-3) with a run scored and an RBI. Yusmeiro Petit picked up the win on the mound for the Grizzlies. Petit went six innings with seven strikeouts.

The 51s continue their four-game set with the Grizzlies on Wednesday.
