Metro Police seek suspect in attempted kidnapping of girl

Metro Police are searching for a man suspected of attempting to kidnap a girl in late March while she was walking down Centennial Parkway.

The man drove up to the girl on March 27 at the intersection of Centennial Parkway and Fort Apache Road and forced her into his dark blue Chrysler 300, police said. The girl escaped from the car one mile later at the 9600 block of West Tropical Parkway.

The suspect is a 6-foot, 200-pound man between 25 and 30 years old, police said. He is described as having brown skin with short, black hair worn spiked up. He was last seen wearing a light blue shirt and black jeans, police said.
