A married couple who died Friday in what Metro Police said appeared to be a murder-suicide were identified by the Clark County Coroner’s Office as Danijela and Slavisa Gogic, both 32.
An initial investigation found that Slavisa Gogic had returned home to find his wife with another man and began shooting, police said.
Danijela Gogic suffered multiple gunshot wounds while Slavisa Gogic died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, the Coroner’s Office said.
The other man was wounded but escaped the apartment where the shooting took place by leaping from a second-floor balcony, authorities said.
The shooting was reported about 8:30 p.m. in the 8000 block of Russell Road, near Buffalo Drive, police said. Police found the man who had jumped in the bushes suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. When officers entered the apartment, they found the Gogics, police said.
The other man was taken to University Medical Center, where he underwent surgery. Police said he is expected to survive.
