Metro trying to identify armed bank robber

This man was caught on surveillance video robbing a bank Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, near South Durango Drive and Warm Springs Road.

Metro Police is asking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a bank Thursday afternoon near Rhodes Ranch.

The robbery occurred about 4:45 p.m., at a bank in the area of South Durango Drive and Warm Springs Road. The man went to a teller’s window, placed a handgun on the counter with the barrel facing the teller and demanded money. The teller complied and the suspect left.

Metro described the robber as a white male, approximately 25 years old, 6-feet tall, 180 pounds, with red hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a ball cap, a dark, long-sleeve shirt and dark pants.
