Metro Police is asking for the public’s assistance in locating an 80-year-old Las Vegas man suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and missing since Tuesday.

In a news release issued Thursday, Metro said John Collier was last seen walking about 9 a.m. Tuesday in the area of North Buffalo and West Vegas drives in northwest Las Vegas. He may have been trying to walk to a group home on Tree Line Drive in northeast Las Vegas.

Anyone with information about Collier is asked to contact Metro’s missing persons detail at 702-838-2907 or 702-828-3111.
