Music legend and 10-time Grammy winner Carlos Santana celebrated the kickoff of his fall residency at House of Blues in Mandalay Bay when he was honored Wednesday night with a Casa Noble tequila locker in the nearby Foundation Room. Carlos posed for photographs and toasted his return before going onstage with a high-energy show to a sold-out house.

Carlos’ locker is alongside HOB owner and actor Dan Aykroyd and fellow actor Jim Belushi’s lockers. Now a full-time Las Vegas resident of three years, the guitar god has become a shareholder and representative of the tequila brand’s board of directors.

He said: “We both share the same philosophy and passion for excellence, integrity and respect for the earth. Casa Noble has a rich history, honors traditions of the past and has a great future.”

The new partnership was born when Carlos returned to his Jalisco birthplace and learned the philosophy and history from Jose “Pepe” Hermosillo, founder of Casa Noble. That meeting led to the new partnership.

Added Carlos: “Integrity is what attracted me to Casa Noble. I like people who have passion for excellence, do not take shortcuts, do not cheat or make excuses. We both look for excellence in what we do.”
