Super-busy singer Cee Lo Green will be in Las Vegas this weekend, and a privileged few will attend a performance to tease his new show “Loberace” headed to Planet Hollywood next year. Meantime, Season 3 of NBC’s “The Voice,” on which he’s a judge, premieres tonight with a new format.

Plus, Cee Lo’s just signed another NBC deal for a sitcom based loosely on his jam-packed life balancing his supercharged career and his ex-wife and their children. The deal also includes other scripted and unscripted projects. This summer, he also appears in the Jordin Sparks film “Sparkle,” the late Whitney Houston’s final movie, recorded a cameo for Eminem’s group Slaughterhouse and did a voiceover for the upcoming animated film “Hotel Transylvania.”

Cee Lo, with his white cat, joins Christina Aguilera, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton on “The Voice” with the new format. A “Battle Round” has been added that lets a coach steal a contestant from another team if they lose, and the new “knockout round” will precede the teams being cut from 10 contestants to five. Cee Lo kicks off his run at Planet Hollywood on Feb. 27 but this weekend performs at a party at another hotel for a private VIP event -- and we’ll be there.

SINCEREST CONDOLENCES: I was sad to hear Sunday’s news that Las Vegas sisters Phyllis and Christine McGuire lost Dorothy, the other member of their singing trio the McGuire Sisters; Dorothy died at her Phoenix home. They had hit after hit in the 1950s and ’60s, earning six gold records, including 1954’s “Sincerely” and 1957’s “Sugartime.”

The McGuire Sisters

In this photo provided by the Las Vegas News Bureau, the McGuire Sisters attended the opening of the World of Coca-Cola on the Strip on July 7, 1997, and they’re seen in another photo at the Tournament of Champions at Desert Inn Golf Course on April 17, 1957, with Debbie Reynolds, Mamie Van Doren, Walter Winchell, Bing Crosby and Marie Wilson. The sisters last performed together in 2004 on PBS’ “Magic Moments: the Best of ’50s Pop.”

They performed for five presidents and Queen Elizabeth and were inducted into the National Broadcasting Hall of Fame in 1994. Christine and Phyllis live here and are generous supporters of local charities. My heartfelt condolences. They’re beautiful ladies and very special in soul, spirit and faith, and I fell in love with them when they filmed their first “Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous” segment here for me at Phyllis’ mansion.
