Singer and TV actress Ashlee Simpson hosted Fiji Water’s pool party Summer Soak at Wet Republic in MGM Grand on Saturday, and contributing photographer Scott Harrison was on the arrivals carpet for a photo gallery.

The younger sister of Jessica Simpson wore a black 6 Shore Road romper with white polka dots and Alexander McQueen wedges, and her father Joe Simpson accompanied her. The daytime revelers at Wet Republic were treated to snow cones made from Fiji; Simpson enjoyed one in a private cabana with her dad and a girlfriend and posed for photographs with fans.

Simpson, who is divorced from Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz, recently collaborated with her sister in a tween clothing line as part of the Jessica Simpson Collection. She is working on a new album and film and design-related projects.

    I'd have a hard time believing she was Ashlee Simpson from a few years ago.
