President Barack Obama is scheduled to speak in Las Vegas on Wednesday, and tickets were made available at four locations in the Las Vegas Valley.

Obama will speak at 5:25 p.m. Wednesday at the Cashman Center, a campaign official said.

Doors will open at 3 p.m. for the event inside the center, which can seat 10,000 people.

Free tickets are being provided on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of one ticket per person.

Distribution locations are at Obama campaign offices:

■ 6030 W. Windmill Lane, Suite D

■ 3440 W. Cheyenne Ave., Suite 300

■ 5061 N. Rainbow Blvd., Suite 150

■ 1720 Horizon Ridge Parkway, No. 120, in Henderson

GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney will visit Reno on Tuesday to speak at the annual National Guard convention.

Nevada is a key battleground in the presidential race and is one of several states that could determine the Nov. 6 election.

  1. If you are being critical now what are you going to say when the government is raising your taxes, and your quality of life goes in the dumpster. GO VOTE !!! then whine about it !

  2. Don't forget to bring your photo IDs, libs.

  3. Thank goodness President Obama gets the free use of Air Force One and a cargo plane to carry his limosine and helicopter when he makes campaign stops. If not, he would have to raise as much campaign money as Romney to pay for his own transportation.
