A pedestrian was struck by a car and injured at a bus stop late Thursday morning in the eastern Las Vegas Valley, Metro Police said.
The accident happened at 11:44 a.m. on East Charleston Boulevard, west of North Lamb Boulevard, Metro spokesman Bill Cassell said. The pedestrian was taken to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries that were not life-threatening, Cassell said.
No further details about the incident were immediately available.
Traffic was shut down on eastbound Charleston Boulevard near the accident.
