President Barack Obama greets supporters as he arrives for a rally at Canyon Springs High School in North Las Vegas Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012.

President Barack Obama will make his seventh trip to Nevada this year, and his second official campaign stop in the Silver State in less than a month, next week when he visits Las Vegas.
The Obama campaign this afternoon announced Obama would speak at a grassroots event Wednesday. The following day, he’ll be in the Denver area to deliver remarks at another campaign event.
Details on the president’s events in Las Vegas and the Denver area are forthcoming, the campaign said.
The president’s most recent trip to the Las Vegas Valley was on Aug. 22 when he had a campaign rally at Canyon Springs High School in North Las Vegas. The previous day Obama spoke at a rally in Reno.

He'll play all nice and then slam Las Vegas as soon as he leaves. Idiots here forget real easy.

Bob - he is completely unaware of the consequences of his actions. And if he were, it wouldn't matter, his interests trump ours in his mind!
Sheldon Adelson s blood pressure goes up every time President Obama comes to town, for that i welcome him here.
:)
No better sight than seeing Air Force One land. Impressive.
Is this a stop to bad mouth Las Vegas again...this time in person?
They're going to win in November Mark. They're going to win. Hopefully you will not meltdown.
He said not to bet on Romney, but when he places his bets in Vegas if he bets on himself he is facing 5 to one loser odds. I will bet on massive Bamajams on our streets and airspace, and I do not mean he and Clinton doing their 2013 Strip Lounge Act.
TomD, please don't meltdown when Obama loses. Your pots are starting to look shaky.
Obama, stay away, you've done enough damage to Vegas with your misguided cult of personality troglodytes fawning at every word.
WELCOME AGAIN, PRESIDENT OBAMA!!!
And please ignore the republican minority party
here.
We will easily out-vote these fools.
NEVER VOTE REPUBLICAN!!!
Funny how teanutz hate that Obama said "stop wasting taxpayers money on frivolous trips"........thought that was whay the teanutz wanted, but now I see the teanutz complainging about the comment to stop spending taxpeyers dollars!??!
Wonder how low an IQ one nbeeds to be a true teanut? Because most are pretty damned stupid.
Sorry for my bad typing in the above posting.......but the teanutz probably didn't notice!
Bertos....
Republicans count on low I.Q. voters.
That's their only plan.
It won't work.
@ TEAMark:
"In total, the Democratic Party platform recommends $674.8 billion in additional federal spending over the next decade."
Not so good at arithmetic? $674.8 is far less than the $5 trillion of tax cuts Myth has repeatedly promised the struggling millionaires who are spending hundreds of millions to try to get him elected. And who will get taxed to make up the shortfall?
What happens after they spend all that money and then he loses? Consumer prices go up.
Bob ....
I see you are afraid of the truth.
Thank God that we still have free speech in this
country.
And thank God for the internet.
The truth is here.
And I never flag anybodys comments.
This is not China or Russia, the last time I
checked.
All teapotty people should be monitored during the visit ans schools and government agencies should be given the day off so they can attend.
@Go-Rebels and Goo Goo Doll:
Get over it already. Look in your own backyard on why Vegas isn't doing well. Blame your OWN State politicians, not the President. Educate your children so non-gaming companies will WANT to move to Vegas and Nevada to improve the employment and economy. Can't continue to depend on casinos and tourism 100%. Diversification- a word the NV politicans just don't get. It's not up to the federal government to bail you out for things that can be fixed right at home.
It good President Obama is coming to Las Vegas. The Democrats convention was a success. The information giving during the convention was helpful to undecided independent voters. The President should see a bump in the national polls. More importantly, agree or disagree, the Democrats made clear their message to the America public.
The 6 to 8 percent of the voters President Obama targeted, are most likely to side with the President come November...independent voters!
Both presidential candidates are hitting the campaign trail and since Nevada is supposedly a swing state there'll be more visits by President Obama and Etch a Sketch up until Election Day.
Four years ago it was the same scenario. The vote in Nevada was expected to be close yet the president won by over 12%. This leads me to think that NV is becoming reliably blue like most other more states out west, CA, OR, WA and NM.
The farewell tour begins. Good riddance...
My guess is Obama found out Tigers secret Haunt?
Who pays for the use of Air Force One and the cargo plane that carries his limo, helicopter, and Secret Service personnel? I thought the use of this equipment was only for official purposes.
Bob Realist...
It would be helpful to your cause if you could get your fellow commenters to quite repeating the same old tired, laughable propaganda, like, 'Obummer told everyone not to go to Las Vegas!', and 'he's a Muslim!', and 'he ain't shown us his birth certificate!' and 'he's a closeted homosexual!' and ...
well, you get the idea;
Maybe they all read the 'Chattanooga Times-Free Press' Editorial columns, too.
"I thought the use of this equipment was only for official purposes."
Only if one has integrity.
SteveMiller
Then Mitt Romney's and Paul Ryan's Secret Service detail should also be discontinued. Why should we taxpayers pay for security for two "wannabes"?
I hope someone takes a photo when Reggie Love is smuggled into his bedroom.
Instead of Carolyn Goodman greeting Barry as usual, they ought send out the jabbawockeez.
Det...Munch
My comment was only about the cost of using taxpayer owned equipment for campaign purposes, not the Secret Service. Incumbents have a huge financial advantage over their opponents by such free usage of government aircraft during campaigns.
gmag the only thing that gets tiresome is the Dems constantly approving of what the President says about Nevada. And true Bob, some of us love Nevada and will stick up for it from outsiders.
Oh to all of the Dems, hows the job numbers put out today look to you?
and Repugs why is Nevada so bad given we have low Taxes and limited Government?
aren't those the guiding principles of the GOP?
