Metro Police is investigating a reported kidnapping of a 17-year-old girl brought to Las Vegas from California.

Security personnel at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, 3700 W. Flamingo Road., reported the incident at 7:08 a.m. Wednesday to police, said Metro spokesman Jose Hernandez. The 17-year-old had told Rio security she had escaped from two men who had brought her to Las Vegas and refused to let her leave once they arrived, Hernandez said. It was unknown if she came to Las Vegas willingly.

Metro vice detectives are investigating the case as a prostitution-related kidnapping, Hernandez said.

The girl’s parents have been notified, he added. No suspect information has been released, and Metro continues searching for the two men.

Anyone with information is urged to leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-555.

  1. The FBI needs to handle this! Metro Vice should spend time stopping the millions of dollars of losses to tourists every month after prostitutes steal from them!

  2. See how far the Rio Hotel has deteriorated? From being a Destination Resort to a Flee Bag Motel where everything is for sale, thanks Caesars Entertainment!
