Man stabs 3 co-workers after work party, police say

A man stabbed three of his co-workers leaving one in critical condition after a fight at the Fremont Street Experience on Tuesday, Metro Police officials said.

Officials said the men all worked at a Wolfgang Puck restaurant and were attending a work party at Hennessy Tavern. They got into an argument and began fighting around 9:40 p.m. Officials said the man then stabbed one co-worker in the stomach, another in the arm and a third in the chest.

Police say they arrived after reports of a fight outside the bar. The suspect fled the scene for a couple of blocks before he called police to turn himself in, officials said.

Officials said the man stabbed in the chest was transported to University Medical Center in critical condition. The other two co-workers were also taken to UMC to be treated for their wounds, officials said.

Officials said the incident is still under investigation. The suspect could face charges of battery with a deadly weapon or attempted homicide depending on the investigation findings.
