Southbound lanes on Interstate 15 between Lake Mead Boulevard and Cheyenne Avenue will be reduced overnight this week for continued construction on the North Fifth Street Bridge, North Las Vegas officials said.
Officials said the number of open lanes would be reduced overnight from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Tuesday and ending Friday morning. Lane reductions will allow crews to erect steel girders and install deck forms for the bridge.
The $30 million bridge is part of the North 5th Street Arterial Project, and is expected to be completed in 2013. The bridge is funded by the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada.
