The 2012 Labor Day Weekend in Las Vegas wasn’t all about the star DJs at dayclubs and nightclubs, as music legend and singer-songwriter Neil Diamond took the stage and the spotlight at MGM Grand Garden Arena on Saturday night.

Thanks to contributing photographer Tom Donoghue for his photo gallery of Diamond, who sparkles brightly as ever at 71 years old.

  1. Thank you Neil, for an amazing show! You said that you have the best band in the world and you do. The best singer in the world should have the best band. You were phenomenal! Your performance resonated love from you to your fans and we couldn't have received a more precious gift! We are so lucky that your grandmother had the courage to come to America, so that you could live your dream and so that we could all be a part of it. With a huge part of my heart, I thank her and I thank you for having the courage to live your dream. I can't imagine not having your voice and your writing as an important part of the American "musicscape."
