South Point’s spa to get a makeover

The South Point casino is getting a full makeover for its spa with a $500,000 renovation set to open Dec. 1.

The Costa Del Sur Spa & Salon will feature new treatment sections and new services. New stations include five for pedicures, five for hair, three for manicures and a new make-up station and color bar. It will also feature a couples relaxation lounge and sauna steam Jacuzzi.

"This project is more than a simple face lift to the exterior," South Point general manager Ryan Growney said of the two-month project.

Among the new treatments are an orange blossom pedicure, Fiji facial, deep tissue massage and a Surf City Body Treatment. Costa Del Sur will be the only Strip salon to carry the TIGI Hair Reborn line of products.

An offer during its grand opening provides a free day's use of the spa and gym with the purchase of a $50 service. Las Vegas residents will receive a regular 20 percent discount on services at the 40,000-square-foot spa.

  1. At only $500K it means South Point is not really serious about its SPA.

  2. LMAO - I don't think South Point is known for it's SPA....

  3. Bravo for improvements! The South Point is a great casino that focuses more on locals. I look forward to their renewed spa. =)
