This letter is for all those voters who are undecided on the presidential race.

What with all these personal character assassination ads, allegations, falsehoods, gotchas, media pundits and information spins, it has become difficult to sort out the truth.

Even “fact checkers” are working overtime and are concluding that everyone is not being completely honest.

So, if you haven’t made up your mind by now, may I make a few suggestions?

Vote for the candidate who best fits this profile: 1. Will do America the least harm. 2. Is the most honest. 3. Has integrity, will do the right things. 4. Has credibility, will do what they say they are going to do. 5. Is people oriented as opposed to “things” oriented. 6. Delivers consistent messages. 7. Will do the most to negate selfish, special interest groups. 8. Will not take America into war.

  1. Nice try Armando, but your bias is showing. You could have saved space and just endorsed President Obama for re-election.

    Michael

  2. Why don't you guys juxtapose Romney against those eight elements. We want to see what you will come up with. We want to understand how you justify your choice.

We really want to know other reasons except the obvious.

    Go ahead?

  3. Michael

It's great to see that you so readily recognize the qualities President Obama offers. :-):-)

    Jim

  4. Here's a better check list FOR PRESIDENT. Experience, leadership and integrity. Who's best in all 3.

    CarmineD

  5. Anyone who pays taxes is, by default, a part of "redistribution" of monies by the Federal Govt. Anyone who pays property taxes is, by default, a part of "redistribution" of monies by the state Govt. I'll make it even simpler; anyone who goes to the mall and spends money in a store is, by default, a part of "redistribution" of their money towards employee wages, overhead expenses incurred by the business such as rental charges by mall management.

Redistribution is not some evil plot. It is the way the economy works.

There's going to be some serious "redistribution" in the next couple of days, when the East Coast gets slammed by Hurricane Sarah. Will anyone object to helping the folks effected by the storm? Disaster relief funds are "redistribution" of Federal tax dollars to help citizens in need.

  6. Re my 0450 comment: It's hurricane SANDY, not Sarah.

  7. Yes, Carmine:

Experience: Obama has experience as President already. He already knows the inner workings of the Presidency. Romney on the other hand, during the third debate, simply agreed with Obama. He appeared clueless.

Leadership. Anyone who marginalized 47% of those he claims to lead, is NOT a leader.

Integrity. Oh this one is comical. Unless of course flip flopping depending on your audience is an element of integrity, not to mention a plan claimed to be backed by research when no such research exists! And, a plan that no mathematician can even support as plausible.

Oh, one another thing. You said that the people has no business asking more of Romney's tax return files. Then you proceeded to attack Obama's family. And when you were told that families should be sacred, you claimed that when one is running for office, everything should be on the table.

So, did you learn flip flopping from Romney? Or he was your student.

  8. I never attacked the President's family. Never. I asked why the President has not had any personal contact with his brother James in Kenya in years. Who by all accounts is worse off than those suffering in poverty here in the USA. And I made a simple observation. Governor Romney's grandchildren were at the last debate in Boca Raton Florida. Obama's daughters were not. My point is that the Romney's and Mormons in general are family friendly and include their children in all family events and affairs. To their credit.

    CarmineD

  9. Ok it was not an attack. That's not my point. How about the phrase...... Everything should be on the table.... Go ahead.

  10. Oh and the three-point issue. Go ahead on that one too.

I just want to know how seemingly intelligent people keep insisting on voting for Romney despite his flip flopping and lying. Perhaps I will understand it better. Just Romney. Don't include Obama's failings because I've heard that a lot of times from you.

    Thank you.

  11. Jim,

Read the comment I made to Nancy regarding positive traits for both candidates. As I said to her, both of these candidates, as all politicians do, have lied.

If you base your vote on positive qualities like keeping commitments, telling the truth, no exaggerating, being honest about your own record and that of your opponent, etc, neither one of these guys would qualify for the race.

Instead we are left to look at what they have done in the past and their stated philosophy and policies going forward. If that is done, President Obama is at a disadvantage, and he should be.

The President's campaign has done a masterful job of questioning the character and intelligence of his opponent, and it still may very well succeed, but most Americans now know Romney is NOT what Obama painted him to be...and Obama still does have his record.

    Michael

  12. ARE WE DEMOCRATIC VOTERS JUST PLAIN STUPID OR ARE WE TWO-FACED?

    PART ONE

We already know where the Republicans stand? They'll sell out and abandon the American worker, without question. The Republicans don't really care about the stability and growth of the American economy here at home. If they did care, making an extra buck from outsourcing their businesses to China would not be a priority. Again, there is no question there.

    But, what about the Democratic voter when it comes to the American workforce and our economy? Where do their loyalties lay? Do these voters even know when General Motors was bailed out, who in actuality was bailed out? Could it have been Communist Chinese manufacturing jobs in China too? Sounds crazy doesn't it? Not really. The GM vehicle may be assembled here in the United States, but you can be assured a significant percentage of the parts to that vehicle were manufactured in China. Why do you think American cars are many times labeled as junk? Try these facts on for size;

Remember when one of many GM announced production stoppages on their vehicles such as the Chevy Colorado / GMC Canyon compact trucks were due to defective Chinese made micro-chips? These types of occurrences are not isolated within the American automobile industry. It is fact that, most recalls on American vehicles are from that of automotive parts made in Communist China that are inherently of very low quality.

But, one of reason should see this is not all the fault of the Republican businessman. Didn't former President Clinton sign into law the (NAFTA) North American Free Trade Agreement legislation? The truth of the matter is, the Democrats opened the cage doors allowing the "corporate chimps" of America to begin running amuck around the world seeking the cheapest labor and manufacturing costs.

In regards to the passing of NAFTA, former presidential candidate Ross Perot said, ""You're going to hear a giant sucking sound of jobs being pulled out of America." Was he ever right!!! Mexico became a manufacturing powerhouse. However, this was short lived. As cheap as Mexican labor was at about $5 an hour, Chinese labor beat it by miles. Some estimates place their labor in some Chinese districts as cheap as $1 an hour. Hellish Chinese work environments, these untrained workers were doing highly skilled jobs. It is a known fact; the Chinese workers were manually dipping circuit boards into molten pools of lead.

So, in profiling who the better presidential candidate would be, this is most difficult. There is more than enough blame, political party wise, to "go around the horn" many times. If I am to vote for President Barack Obama, the truth is, it is because I like him much better than I do Mitt Romney. But, would this be a responsible vote? No, it would not be.

  13. PART TWO

    NAFTA is the scourge of the American economy. Here provides the proof that either Mitt Romney or President Obama will not repeal NAFTA;

    Here is Mitt Romney's position: I expected this from Romney;

    Mitt Romney, former Governor of Massachusetts, stated the following in his Sep. 6, 2011 document "Believe in America": Mitt Romney's Plan for Jobs and Economic Growth;

"George H. W. Bush and Bill Clinton both worked to negotiate and implement the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), which went into effect in 1994... All told, these agreements have enabled people across the world to come together and build a better future. Economists estimate that the agreements have led to the creation of 5.4 million new American jobs and support a total of nearly 18 million jobs. Looking beyond just our FTA partners, our total exports support nearly 10 million American jobs. These are not just jobs; they're good jobs, paying significantly above average, and more than one-third are in manufacturing." June 6, 2011 >Mitt Romney<

    Here is President Obama's position on NAFTA; This I did not expect;

    http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/Vote2008/...

In reply to Armando Gaytan; I'm glad some fellow Democratic voters in this discussion forum bad-mouthed my recent posts on the issue of the Communist China economy and the American desire for such. It woke me up. There is no better profile of a better candidate. They both stink, when it comes to the best interests of America. Justifiably, I've decided to not even waste my time in going to the polls.

Yes, the Republicans are greedy. But, the Democrats are both stupid and two-faced. Democrats claim to care about the economy and the American middle-class line-worker. If this were so, NAFTA would have been repealed in President Obama's first term, or, the Democrats would have a candidate that did support the elimination of NAFTA. It may take me a good while to learn, but I'm certainly not intentionally two-faced!!!

  14. Nancy,
Fantistic posts this morning,5:23am,6:23am,6:27am,.Carmine will never admit to flip flopping he will just change the subject and talk about something eles that has nothing to do with nothing.

  15. Michael:

What record are you referring to about Romney?

    - That he was a venture capitalist leading to lay offs of employees of companies he bought and sold for a profit?
-That he claims no connection to Bain since 1999 so he can run for office in MA when in fact he was its sole signatory all the way to 2002?
-That he claims he 'worked' with the 85% democratic legislature in MA, when in fact he didn't have much choice? Much like Obama did not have much choice with the current congress? Yet you praise Romney for 'working across the aisle' when he merely was a rubber stamp then vilify Obama for doing a Herculean task for passing anything at all.
-That he vilify Obama for his foreign policy and went ahead and agree to almost all of them, except he is going to make it better without really telling us how?
-That he moved jobs to China for profitability, leaving people without jobs?
-That his investments included companies in China with questionable surveillance equipment?
-That his much-touted five-point plan is backed by research when no such research exist and have been found to be mathematically improbable?
-That he wants to lead us yet marginalize the 47% part of the "us."
-That he would rather manipulate his taxes so he does not have to pay as much to help this country with the millions he earned from tax structures that favor the rich?
-That he would rather put his money in overseas accounts to escape from paying taxes and perhaps have that money available to infuse capital in our own country?
-That he would rather help the rich who have been hoarding their money to choke the economy and blame Obama for it?

I am tired repeating these issues and no one from your side disputed them. Go ahead and dispute them. Maybe you will even convince me to vote for Romney.

I realize there is no convincing Republicans to give Obama the time of day, and that is okay by me. I want to say right here, that if Romney wins and he cannot deliver his promise, I expect that you will be as harsh to him as you are to Obama.

Good luck to us and our country. We may need it because of our own folly.

  16. Michael

Exaggeration is part of any political campaign, but to me, Romney is burning trousers at a rapid pace. I think the best we can do is look at what they've both done and discern what's in their hearts. President Obama is not a perfect man but I believe I know what's in his heart.

Mitt Romney is also not perfect man. I believe he is a kindly person but he's too much of a shapeshifter for me to get a feel for what's in his heart. I have little doubt that he very very badly wants to be President, something I find a bit troubling because I don't know why. As for what he's done, I find it instructive that Massachusetts voters do not seem to hold fond memories of their former governor. There has been no suggestion that that State might be red or even a battleground state in 2012.

Be careful that, if you feel you're selling your soul, that you don't sell it too cheaply. Relieving 5% of your angst may be too little reward for too much risk.

    Jim

  17. Carmine,
"Here's a better check list For President.Leadership, experience, and intgrity.Who's best in all 3".

That's easy Pres.Obama has proven he has leadership with ending the Iraq war,and winding down the afghanistan war(2014). Pres.Obama has nearly 4 years of experience as Pres. Pres. Obama has integrity he has proven that time and again.

    So voter's have a easy pick.Pres.Obama for re-election on Nov 6th.

  18. Jim,

You letter illustrates why you don't often see me talk about heart, character, blah, blah, blah. I don't judge these guys this way. Romney has changed positions, no doubt to help his chances. He had said why he wants to be President but you don't believe him. Obama very likely knows what happened in Benghazi, who did what, when and why, but refuses to say, in an effort to help his chances to be re-elected.

As I have said before, this is backward logic. Pick a candidate; cherry pick what you will to justify your choice and presto, all necessary work is done. Plus throw in heart, character, etc and use that to justify the choice as well.

I'm not gong to disqualify Romney over changing positions, because I DO know why he did. I don't disqualify Obama because he refused to provide the facts about Benghazi, because I DO know why he won't.

I am going to support Romney because I disagree with much of what I have seem of President Obama's policies in the last 4 years. Period.

Romney may be worse. I can't know but I feel we need a different direction.

    Michael

  19. Call it for what it is: "If you are an undecided voter at this stage, you are an irresponsible voter."

  20. Kepi,Give hell fine lady.

  21. As an addendum to my two part post above, "ARE WE DEMOCRATIC VOTERS JUST PLAIN STUPID OR ARE WE TWO-FACED", besides being in absolute shock, I'm angered at the falsehoods from a President that I trusted. And, above all, I have always believed "his heart was in the right place".

I can't get over the fact that I just recently discovered that Barack Obama had originally after his inaugration refused to ax NAFTA. I was thinking positively for a moment, in that, maybe Obama did not have enough political backing to do so. I was wrong again!

"On 4 March 2010, Rep. Gene Taylor (D-MS) introduced H.R.4759 that provided for the withdrawal of the United States from the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA)."

This last action on the resolution occurred on 4 March 2010 when it was referred to the House Committee on Ways and Means.

The resolution had 29 co-sponsors of which 26 were Democrats. Apparently, this made no difference to President Obama. I'm now just finding out he did not support this bill.

Why??? Why in the hell would Obama do this? Was there a secretive political pact made between Obama and the Clinton's not to repeal NAFTA? It sure would seem reasonable and practical that they did. And, if this is so, was this worth keeping the American economy in the tank, with the possibilities of an unrecoverable recession? Apparently so.

NAFTA has all but destroyed our most important and productive jobs sector; manufacturing, agriculture and industrial. With all of Obama's talk about moving the country's economy forward, I would like to have an honest answer as to why he refused to proceed in abolishing NAFTA since this has killed millions of good paying American jobs. But, no honest answer will be provided. That is not until long after all of us have passed on from this Earth.

I wouldn't celebrate Republicans. Most of you are just as guilty as the Democrats, probably even more so.

But I do know this certainty, greed and corruption in any form has immediate gratification, but sooner or later, the consequences of it are fatal. For me, no vote is the best vote. I never thought I would see America this pathetic!

  22. Over two hundred thousand voters have already voted since early voting began on October 20th. This in Clark County alone. The die is cast in Nevada, so the constant rehash of the pros and cons of both candidates is, quite simply, IRRELEVANT. Who cares where parts are manufactured for automobiles? I owned a '91 Ford pickup that had parts manufactured in Canada and Mexico. So what? Like this is something new? It isn't. Since most of US manufacturing has been outsourced to the new kid on the block, China, why all the wailing and gnashing of teeth? It's a world economy, and any company that can, will outsource jobs to avoid paying American workers a living wage. Simple profit driven economics. The new paradigm for the foreseeable future is crap jobs with crap wages. Getting a worthless sheepskin from a college is no longer a guarantee of automatic entry into the middle class; deal with it. There is an effort underway to steer high school graduates into the trades, as opposed to getting the flavor of the month degree from some overpriced college, with NO guarantee of a job in that field. What good is a BA or a BS in ANY field, if the only people hiring are crappy service/retail entry level jobs? This country's economy is based on CONSUMER SPENDING, and if the demand for goods and services is not there, the economy cannot grow. Romney promises "12 million jobs" if elected; what he fails to mention is WHAT KIND OF JOBS? He promises Nevada's unemployment will drop to 6% if he is elected. Really? More pie in the sky crap. Vote for him if you will, and I assure you all, that if he is elected, it will be: MEET THE NEW BOSS, SAME AS THE OLD BOSS.

  23. To Nancy Agustin; remember you wrote the other day for me to not give up on America, politically speaking? Look at the most recent posts. The Democratic supporters do not like what I've said, so they've now become political backstabbers. The Republican supporters are playing the game too, like I've become their friend. No way!!!

They've all done exactly what I expected them to do. Manipulate the situation to their political advantage. Just like the Chinese Communist government.

I'm much different than these individuals. Truth and integrity means a great deal to me. This is exactly why I will not vote for any political candidate. Liars and manipulators fill the Earth in overwhelming numbers. The words of commentators in this forum proves this, as well as the candidates for all political offices have proved themselves to be.

  24. "Everything should be on the table.... Go ahead."

That is the reason presidents always release their 1040's while in office.

    CarmineD

  25. On the matter of Romney's qualifications for president, they are self-evident as at least half if not more than the likely voters polled show. Sadly, your name is right, you don't have the wherewithal, age, wisdom, and inclination to accept it.

    CarmineD

  26. You have to include President Obama's failings in a two man race between him and Governor Romney. Again, sadly, as your name implies, you can't/won't accept that simple truth and prefer to ignore it and dwell only on Romney's faults and failings. Not to single you out alone, the left leaning liberal media does the exact same thing. And you have bought into it hook, line and sinker.

    CarmineD

  27. Here's a CBS video on Governor Romney that takes aboutt 5 minutes:

    http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=7...

Yesterday, during the Mormon services, Church leaders with the attendees set up a network to keep track of all those in the path of the storm on the east coast. And persons have been identified for emergency preparedness and supplies, like water, food, medical supplies etc. Within hours and days of the storm, Mormon Church leaders will have an accounting of all members affected by the storm.

The same happened during Katrina. Sadly no coverage is ever given or provided. Mormons assisted all regardless of religion.

    CarmineD

  28. The state of the race:

    Polling

It appears that Gallup is more interested in headline than election results. From Andrew Sullivan: "in 2008, Gallup missed the margin of victory for Obama by six points. That's a huge discrepancy. And that time it was in Obama's favor: they predicted a landslide double-digit 11 point victory, when it was only 7 percent. But they were dead-on in 2004; and now they are claiming that the demographic make-up of this year's electorate is almost exactly the same as they measured 2008. So with the same turn-out in terms of race, age, gender etc. they are predicting this time a Romney victory over Obama of five points. From 2008 to 2012, Gallup believes that Obama has lost 17 points to the Republican challenger." http://andrewsullivan.thedailybeast.com/...

    Romney Foreign Policy:

" Yet, despite the bloody and costly catastrophe in Iraq, the heart of the neocon dream is still beating -- and Romney's comment indicates that he shares its illusions. Dating back at least to the mid-1990s, the neocon idea has been to use violent or coercive "regime change" in Muslim countries to secure Israel's security.

The neocons' first target may have been Iraq, but that was never the endgame. The strategy was to make Iraq into a military base for then removing the governments of Iran and Syria. Back in the heady days of 2002-2003, a neocon joke posed the question of what to do after ousting Saddam Hussein in Iraq -- whether to next go east to Iran or west to Syria. The punch-line was: "Real men go to Tehran."

    From Consortium News: http://consortiumnews.com/2012/10/24/mod...

The only foreign country that backs Romney over Obama is Pakistan: http://news.yahoo.com/why-world-wants-ob...

The Etch a Sketch Presidential Campaign rolls on: The Jeep LIE. http://s3.amazonaws.com/dk-production/im...

"The key line is in the ad asserts that while President Obama "sold Chrysler to Italians who are going to build Jeeps in China, Mitt Romney will fight for every American job." It doesn't explicitly say that Jeep will move American jobs to China, but the rhetorical contrast that it sets up with Romney allegedly fighting "for every American job" it is clear that the ad is intended to convince viewers that under Obama, Jeep is going to shift production overseas. That's simply not true.

This is a pattern of behavior consistent with pathological dishonesty that goes far beyond the normal spin and fact-butchering of politics-as-usual. It's the kind of carefully crafted deception that has become the hallmark of Mitt Romney and his campaign.

    From Jed Lewison http://www.dailykos.com/story/2012/10/29...

  29. Carminey Lied:

"I never attacked the President's family. Never. I asked why the President has not had any personal contact with his brother James in Kenya in years. I say:

Your comments are worthy of the Klan. You want to hold Obama accountable for a father who spent one day in his life where one has memories? Your mental depravity knows no bounds.

Barack Obama's half-brother, also known as Abongo or Roy, was born c. March 1958, the son of Barack Obama, Sr., with his first wife, Kezia. Malik Obama was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. He earned a degree in accounting from the University of Nairobi. He met his half-brother for the first time in 1985 when Barack flew from Chicago to Washington, D.C., to visit him. Malik and his half-brother Barack were best men at each other's weddings. Barack Obama brought his wife Michelle to Kenya three years later and they met with Malik again while Barack was introducing Michelle to many other new relatives.

If you don't know what you typed was jaded and racist, then you need to retire from typing your opinions.

Notice I said ZERO about Romney's family, until I just pointed out I am not the hypocrite you are.

  30. Jeffery: As usual your emotions outweigh your facts.

    "By Nick Pisa in Rome
    1:40PM BST 20 Aug 2008
The Italian edition of Vanity Fair said that it had found George Hussein Onyango Obama living in a hut in a ramshackle town of Huruma on the outskirts of Nairobi.

George Hussein Onyango Obama, Senator Barack Obama's long lost brother was tracked down living in a hut on the outskirts of Nairobi
Mr Obama, 26, the youngest of the presidential candidate's half-brothers, spoke for the first time about his life, which could not be more different than that of the Democratic contender.

"No-one knows who I am," he told the magazine, before claiming: "I live here on less than a dollar a month."

According to Italy's Vanity Fair his two metre by three metre shack is decorated with football posters of the Italian football giants AC Milan and Inter, as well as a calendar showing exotic beaches of the world.

Vanity Fair also noted that he had a front page newspaper picture of his famous brother - born of the same father as him, Barack Hussein Obama, but to a different mother, named only as Jael."

    CarmineD

  31. My apologies for having his name wrong. I used James rather than George.

    CarmineD

  32. This came from your source Jeffrey:

    "George Hussein Onyango Obama
Youngest half-brother of Barack Obama, born c. 1982, son of Barack Obama, Sr.[122] and Jael Otieno (now a resident of Atlanta, Georgia).[123][124] George was six months old when his father died in an automobile accident, after which he was raised in Nairobi by his mother and a French step-father. He later lived in South Korea for two years while his mother resided there for business reasons.[123] Returning to Kenya, George Obama "slept rough for several years,"[125] until his aunt gave him a six-by-eight foot corrugated metal shack in the Nairobi, Kenya, slum of Huruma Flats.[123] As of August 2008, Obama was studying to become a mechanic.[123] George received little attention until being featured in an article in the Italian language edition of Vanity Fair in August 2008, which portrayed him as living in poverty, shame, and obscurity.[126] The article quoted George Obama as saying that he lived "on less than a dollar a month" and stated that he "does not mention his famous half-brother in conversation" out of shame at his poverty.[127] In later interviews, George contradicted this picture. In an interview with The Times, he "said that he was furious at subsequent reports that he had been abandoned by the Obama family and that he was filled with shame about living in a slum."[124] He told The Times, "Life in Huruma is good." George Obama said that he expects no favors, that he was supported by relatives, and that reports he lived on a dollar a month were "all lies by people who don't want my brother to win."[124] He told The Telegraph that he was inspired by his half-brother.[123] According to Time, George "has repeatedly denied"that he feels abandoned by Obama."[128] CNN quoted him as saying, "I was brought up well. I live well even now. The magazines, they have exaggerated everything " I think I kind of like it here. There are some challenges, but maybe it is just like where you come from, there are the same challenges."[126] George and British journalist Damien Lewis published George's story in a 2011 book called Homeland.[129][130] George also appeared in the film 2016: Obama's America.[131]"

    CarmineD

  33. I mentioned this before and will again using his name correctly. George, for those who saw the recent film Obama's America 2016, looks like the President's twin brother in appearance, mannerisms, and voice.

    CarmineD

  34. BTW, I personally don't like the usage of such words as half-brother, step-father, and so on. Brothers are brothers. Fathers are fathers. There's no half-way or step about the blood relationships. They are what they are.

    CarmineD

  35. Carmine LIED again:

    He said:

"I never attacked the President's family. Never. I asked why the President has not had any personal contact with his brother James in Kenya in years. Who by all accounts is worse off than those suffering in poverty here in the USA."

He INVENTED a fictional brother JAMES when he now claims he meant GEORGE

WHILE CLAIMING HE NEVER ATTACKS FAMILIES.

Anything to throw mud the Obama way.

Here's another reason for America to not do business with Mitt Romney:

    http://www.bloomberg.com/news/print/2012...

"The Romneys get theirs off the top and the charity gets what's left," he said. "So by definition, if it's not performing as well, the charity gets harmed more."

The trustee for Romney's CRUT is R. Bradford Malt, chairman of the law firm Ropes & Gray LLP, and manager for Romney's various family trusts as well as his personal attorney. Ropes & Gray has also been for years the main outside counsel for Bain Capital.

If the CRUT maintains the same investing strategy, assets will continue to shrink, said Jerome M. Hesch, a tax and estate planning attorney at the law firm Carlton Fields. The trustee acted prudently in protecting against losses during a stock market decline, he said.

Nevertheless, "what's going to go to charity is probably close to nothing," Hesch said.

  36. Jeffery:

You're stretching the truth. Some call that a lie. But lie and liar are such harsh words for making a mistake for getting a name like George or James wrong for the President's brothers. There are after all quite a few. It's the facts that go with the names that are important. And in this case, I used the source you provided to verify the facts I posted as well as my own sources. That's called corroboration. Fact minded people use the technique to verify the truth and facts. You should try it sometime.

  37. 10404 release after election? Trust blindly after the lies? Isn't that a little bit naive?

LVS's Greenspun, New York Times, Huffpost, and many other news agencies and columnists have the wherewithal to do research and a reputation to protect. Carmine expect people to believe him because he said so and he did his own research.

Come on. You will say these agencies are liberal-leaning. Your sources are conservative-leaning. We can find anything to support our positions. That's how it goes. Even polls.

You are a Republican. Just admit that you will vote Republican no matter who the candidate and leave it at that. I did not vote for Obama the first time. This time I will. And that's because Romney did not convince me he will lead this country for ALL people, not just a few.

  38. "Carmine expect people to believe him because he said so and he did his own research."

I don't expect people, you included, to do any such thing. It's on you and them, not me.
