Fans of Pink’s Hot Dogs have yet another reason to line up for the famous franks: A second Las Vegas location will open at Red Rock Resort this winter, according to an announcement today from Las Vegas-based hospitality company Block 16.
The iconic Los Angeles-based hot dog stand opened its first Las Vegas outpost at Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile Shops in 2009.
Pink’s Red Rock location will replace Turf Grill, filling a 2,000 square foot restaurant space located near the resort-casino’s poker room and race and sports book.
The menu will largely mirror that of the Planet Hollywood eatery, offering classics like the Poli-Bacon Chili Cheeseburger, the Guadalajara Dog and Pink’s signature chili dog and chili cheese fries, as well as vegetarian options. The new location will be open daily.
Today’s announcement marks the latest addition to Block 16’s local restaurant portfolio, which includes the popular Holsteins Shakes and Buns at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, the Barrymore in the Royal Resort and Public House at the Venetian, all of which opened in 2011.
The company, founded in 2006 by local entrepreneur Billy Richardson and chef Anthony Meidenbauer, also owns and operates Pink’s Planet Hollywood location, LBS Burger, LBS Patty Wagon food truck and Gallery Nightclub at Planet Hollywood.

Great! Love Pinks. Turf Grille was going no where. Next year Lucille's BBQ...Nice job Red Rock.
TomD1228:
After you comparing Aurelio's Pizza to Papa John's (I have had that Papa Johns at family gatherings) I would be afraid of food poisoning with your recommendation.
I like your politics generally, I will pass on your restaurant reviews.
Aurelios is a chain, Chicago Style pizza Jeff...cookie cutter. Papa John's makes their pizza's the same way.
You don't know good pizza Jeff. Sorry. Try Due Forni or Settebello. THAT is good pizza.
Pinks are great hot dogs.
Ah this is so cool, I am glad I can now get my $8.00 hot dog at two locations in this town. Awesome stuff.
Just curious why a casino that loves locals so much doesn't put more local F&B options in its properties? Personally I wish there were more places like Luv-it Frozen custard around, then a hot dog chain.
Settebello is good pizza. Perhaps a place like that would have been a better choice.
Turf Grille (now Pinks) is right off the poker room. They need some type of food joint there that can be ordered and eaten quick. Frozen custard isn't going to help a hungry poker player. Their signature hot dog with mustard is running around $4.79 at Planet Hollywood.
As far as food goes (not custard), what type of local eatery are looking for them to put in there at that location?
Lucille's BBQ will be opening next year as well.
