Doolittle Park
President Barack Obama will rally supporters at Doolittle Park in Las Vegas about 9:35 p.m. Wednesday night.
The stop is part of Obama’s 48-hour campaign tour of battleground states, including Iowa, Colorado and Florida.
The rally comes in the middle of Nevada’s two-week early-voting period and likely will focus on getting voters to the polls.
Crowd entry for the rally will begin at 6 p.m. Tickets are available through Tuesday and can be picked up at the following locations:
Pearson Community Center, 1625 W. Carey Avenue; East Las Vegas Community Center, 250 N. Eastern Avenue; Lone Mountain Plaza, northwest corner of W. Lone Mountain and N. Decatur Blvd.; Nellis Shopping Center, 1200 S. Nellis Blvd.; and the Arroyo Market Square, Interstate 215 and Rainbow.

While Mr Obama presides over a quarter of 100 million Americans who are unemployed or under-employed, he says he'll cut the deficit in half and proceeds to balloon it to 16 trillion dollars and compounding daily. We remember that Mr. Obama rightly implied that he understood that if he can't fix this thing (the economy), he, too, suggested there would be a change a-coming at the highest office in the land. On this count, he was right to say this.
Mr. Obama's removal from office via the stroke of The Voter's pen is THE real path to hope and change that the majority of economists and others in-the-know when it comes to things economic, predict. Men, women and children alike deserve THAT kind of hope and change.

The visit will be the first time the pair have campaigned together in the Silver State, a key battleground in the presidential race.

Back in 2009 I did something regrettable on vacation that got me fired from my job after I returned. You can fill in the blanks on that one. I spent 3 months unemployed, sold refreshments in Paradise Township to make ends meet (and did quite well doing it). I networked with colleagues and found work 3 months later. I continued to network and found more work, and did that too. 10 months later, I found a better employer to work for and put my heart and soul into it. Now, 3 yrs later, I'm working for the company I've wanted to work for for quite some time. I've got benefits, a schedule, a great supervisor, and great coworkers.
While I feel for the people who have lost jobs, careers and occupations during the Great Recession; I must say that what I've accomplished in the past 3 yrs since my avoidable mistake, I've done on my own and WITHOUT the help of the Federal Government. I didn't depend on handouts, I lived conservatively on savings and my own fortitude and abilities. I got creative and didn't sit around waiting for someone to bail me out.
Seeing so many other people suffering in unemployment, but DEPENDING on the US Gov't to bail them out sickens me, especially when I know that more than 75% of those unemployed can make it on their own by doing what I did...getting up from the couch, network, get out and be creative in doing what they're best at. I'm not in a union, and don't lean on someone else to represent me, nor will I ever pay someone to do that.
I cannot fathom where this country will be in another 4 yrs if we let Barack Obama borrow more money to put more of us into dependency on the Govt. We need to depend on ourselves. Mr Obama has come to our Valley (actually a basin) way too many times. It makes me wonder if Las Vegas is where he plans to spend his retirement (or if he has a special lady friend here)?
I'm looking forward to the new direction Mr Romney will be leading us in. He won't solve all our problems, but he can inspire us to do better for ourselves and country.
There I've said it. Now it's time to go out and vote.

After reading the post to this article, it is clear many on here are misguided, having severe bias, are prejudice, and could be called racist.
Historically, I think this is a first for an American President to visit the Westside of Las Vegas, Nevada.
If anyone does not knows the history of the Westside, the Westside of Las Vegas has changed. White, Blacks and Hispanics, can be seen anytime of day or evening walking up or down Martin Luther. Many are going to Mario's or to the Bus Stop, or to one of the Andre Agassi buildings.
Just to be clear, all is not good on the Westside of Las Vegas, but change is happening, and happening for the better of all you live in the area.
The Westside of Las Vegas is a model of diversity. Economics is the leading indicator of this change.
Some of you who are stuck in a time warp, or a bubble, or just refuse to be a part of the large piece of humanity, cannot deny this change.
If your not ready, you better keep ready. Because it's coming! Soon this will be at your door step.
Why are jobs going overseas? Americans buy cheaper products, that are typically made overseas. Unions demand higher wages for employees, which increase the cost of US products. These employees buy products from companies that are overseas at a lower cost because of labor costs. So a company has a choice, keep prices high, by paying higher wages, and go out of business, or move their operations overseas with lower wages. Not the Republicans or Democrats at fault. It is Americans fault for not buying American, and then demanding higher wages!
