The Canyon Springs High football team extended its winning streak to three games Friday with a crushing 46-0 victory against visiting Valley, improving to 5-2 overall.
The Pioneers saved one of their best performances of the season for homecoming, showing a balanced offense and dominating defense.
Diamante Luna started it off with an interception return for a touchdown. Donnel Pumphrey followed with a 47 yard touchdown run. Canyon Springs quarterback Stevie Farmer was deadly accurate and threw four touchdown passes.
The Pioneers travel to Green Valley High School Thursday night for a crucial matchup.

Maybe someone should get rid of the offensive play caller for Valley. How many times you going to run the same plays that dont work before you figure it out! Coach Sherman had a winning team last year, not sure what he changed but maybe he should go back to what was working.
