No bull: Cattle escape enclosure in NW Las Vegas

Cattle call

Rural mixed with urban Thursday afternoon in northwest Las Vegas when a small herd of cattle escaped an enclosure Thursday afternoon and was on the loose near North Jones Boulevard and West Washburn Road.

Metro Police said a person reported that approximately 20 cattle had made their way east on West Washburn at 4:18 p.m. When police arrived at 4:49 p.m., a man had already corralled all the cattle and had them back in their enclosure.

Officials said there were no injuries or traffic-related issues from the escape.
