Five-vehicle accident closes portion of Jones Boulevard in Spring Valley

Metro Police are on the scene of a multivehicle accident in Spring Valley that included a tractor-trailer and a motorcycle.

Police said the accident occurred around 11:40 a.m. Tuesday in the southbound lane of Jones Boulevard at Flamingo Road. At least five vehicles were involved but police have not yet provided any injury information.

Traffic is currently delayed on Jones between Flamingo Road and Saddle Avenue, and police are urging motorists to avoid the area.
