It’s being called “the biggest birthday bash ever,” and music legend and Caesars Palace headliner Sir Elton John is masterminding the celebrations for his partner David Furnish’s 50th festivities. It will be even more extravagant and lavish than his 50th birthday celebration.

The four days of fun to mark the birthday milestone of husband David Furnish, with whom he adopted a child, will culminate here on the Strip next Saturday. Incredibly, the Hollywood parties reportedly start Wednesday and continue through Friday at different venues with Cher, Lady Gaga, Scissor Sisters and Cirque du Soleil artists performing with “The Million Dollar Piano” star.

Guests will take luxury limousines to Las Vegas or fly in on private jets for the final blowout night at Caesars. The guest list includes three fellow Brits, actress and model Elizabeth Hurley and soccer star stud David Beckham and his Spice Girl wife Victoria.

My former employer the Daily Mail quotes one guest: “It’s the party to end all parties -- money is no object -- and guests are flying in from all over the world.” It’s taken six months to organize the mega-bash.

The star-studded parties and concerts will take place at Elton and David’s new mansion in the Hollywood Hills, at the legendary downtown Belasco theater, Greystone Manor and then onto Caesars Palace.

Elton and David wed in a civil ceremony in December 2005 near Windsor Castle on the first day same-sex unions were permitted in England, with Ringo Starr and Barbara Bach, Donatella Versace, Claudia Schiffer, George Michael, Elvis Costello, Gordon Ramsay, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, Sting, Sharon Stone and Sir Michael Caine among the guests.

At his 50th birthday held at Hammersmith Palais in London in 1997, Elton wore a silver, sequined King Louis XIV garb with feathered robe and tall wig.
