Goodwill nets grant to help area veterans find work

Goodwill of Southern Nevada received a $350,000 grant from Nevada Women’s Philanthropy to establish a program to help local veterans and their spouses find jobs. A Nevada Women’s Philanthropy press release said Goodwill expects to have its Veteran Integration Program running within the next 30 days. The program will include three full-time career specialists who have military backgrounds, and is estimated to help 400 veterans find work within its first two years.   1. Only 400 veterans in 3 years? With Goodwill stores popping up on every corner they couldn't come up with the funds for this? Seems like NWP only gives to the big dogs.
