Potential voters will have more opportunity to register as the Clark County Election Department offices extend their hours in advance of Tuesday’s voter-registration deadline.
The offices will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. this weekend, and they'll be open an extra four hours, until 9 p.m., on Monday and Tuesday.
Residents can confirm whether they are registered to vote by entering their name and birthdate online. People may also confirm their registration by calling call (702) 455-VOTE (8683).
Hours for the Election Department office on the first floor of the County Government Center, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway in downtown Las Vegas, are:
• 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today through Sunday;
• 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
Hours for the Election Department office at 965 Trade Drive, Suite A in North Las Vegas, are:
• 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. today through Friday;
• 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday;
• 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
Early voting for the Nov. 6 election begins Saturday, Oct. 20, and extends through Friday, Nov. 2.
