Police seek assistance in identifying armed robber

Metro Police are looking for this man, caught on video surveillance, who robbed a convenience store on Sept. 29 near Vegas Valley Drive and Lamb Boulevard.

Metro Police are searching for the man who last month robbed a convenience store near Vegas Valley Drive and Lamb Boulevard.

Metro Police officials said the suspect walked into the store around 3:55 a.m. Sept. 29 carrying a handgun and wearing a black do-rag around his face. He demanded money from the clerk, who complied. The suspect then fled.

Officials said the suspect is a 25- to 35-year-old black man, approximately 6-feet tall and 250 pounds.
