A two-vehicle collision on Interstate 15 near Jean sent nine people to the hospital Sunday evening, the Nevada Highway Patrol said. Police did not have details on the severity of the injuries.

A Jeep and a Ford Taurus collided on Interstate 15 North near Jean on Sunday night, sending nine people to University Medical Center, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
The crash happened about 9:40 p.m., but police could provide no additional details.
Information about the extent of the injuries was not available, but eight people were transported to the hospital by ambulance and one by helicopter, police said.
