Metro Police is looking for a man who has committed armed robberies at two Las Vegas businesses since late August. In a news release issued Monday, police said in both instances the suspect was dressed in a shirt and tie and also sporting a hat. He walked into the business, drew a handgun and demanded merchandise from the display cases before running away. My ex told me something years ago: Be observant of those around you; very appropos now that the holiday shopping season is coming up. A man or woman who are criminals and have an intention of commiting a crime can be dressed to the 9's but their demeanor is a little off from most people. Don't let the nice clothes fool you. A tip off is - look at their shoes. Chances are they paid a lot of attention to their clothes to throw people off, like this guy did, but not their shoes. They forget the shoes. The shoes will be dirty, worn and not in good condition. People who dress nice also include shoes to complete the look. Criminals do not.
