House fire
No one was injured Sunday afternoon in a house fire that caused about $55,000 in damage.
Around 4:30 p.m., the Clark County Fire Department responded to a fire in a single-story home on West Diablo Drive near Russell Road and Tenaya Way, a county spokesperson said.
When firefighters arrived, smoke was rising from the attic. Firefighters quickly extinguished the flames, limiting the damage to the garage and an entryway.
A man was in the home at the time of the fire and escaped without injuries. Firefighters are investigating the cause of the fire.
