Las Vegas offers religious leaders unique challenges but potential for growth

Hundreds of spiritual leaders have come to Las Vegas to preach, and if their eyes weren’t already wide open to its unique personality and obvious challenges, they needed to be. Their reasons for settling here vary, and they say finding someone with the right personality to preach here can be tricky.   1. I fail to see how believing in baseless claims is helpful to anyone in the long run. But considering the fact that this city is filled with the less intelligent, I can understand why Las Vegas might seem to be a great place to peddle magic and the good book. Martin Luther said, "Reason is the enemy of religion." Well, the lack of reason and absence of critical thinking skills are ubiquitous here. But... We do have the internet and it tends to kill bad ideas like believing in an extraordinary events in the physical world that suspend all natural laws and are ascribed to a supernatural causes.
