Police have identified a Henderson man accused of stabbing his ex-girlfriend to death during an argument Wednesday.

The 59-year-old Gary Gaston allegedly attacked his 43-year-old ex-girlfriend around 4:40 p.m. Wednesday, Henderson police said. She was rushed to Sunrise hospital's trauma center from her home on Rising Brook Drive off of Aspen Peak Loop, but died at 5:35 p.m., police said.

Police found Gaston at the ex-girlfriend's home, where he admitted to the stabbing, officials said. Gaston, who is being held without bail, was booked into the Henderson Detention Center on charges of murder and burglary with a deadly weapon, police said.
