Area of shooting
Metro Police are investigating a shooting late Tuesday morning in the central valley.
Officer Marcus Martin, Metro spokesman, said Hispanic male was shot in the face and finger at 11:48 a.m. in the 300 block of West Cleveland Avenue, near Industrial Road and West Sahara Avenue.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, about 25 years old, who was wearing a white shirt and red shoes.
Martin said he had no other details about the shooting, including the extent of the injuries to the victim.
