Metro Police investigating possible murder-suicide

Two people were shot and killed in their residence near Tropicana Avenue and Boulder Highway on Sunday in what appeared to be a murder-suicide, Metro Police said.

Police said dispatch received a call indicating that two people had been shot in a residence on the 6400 block of East Tropicana Avenue. Officers arrived at to find a man and woman with gunshot wounds.

Police said the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was transported to Sunrise Trauma Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
