Area of shooting
Two men are dead, the result of a possible murder-suicide early this afternoon in the central valley.
Metro Police responded about 12:10 p.m. Wednesday to the 2000 block of Sunland Avenue, near West Rancho Boulevard and Alta Drive, after receiving numerous reports of shots being fired.
Metro Police spokesman Jose Hernandez said one of the 911 callers was a woman who told police she was home with her three children and a male acquaintance when the woman’s estranged husband kicked in the front door and entered the woman’s house. Upon hearing shots fired, the woman gathered her three children and fled.
A Metro SWAT unit also responded, Hernandez said, and upon entering the house found two adult males – the estranged husband and the acquaintance – both shot to death.
Hernandez, talking to media near the scene, emphasized police did not know who shot whom and said homicide detectives were investigating the case as a possible murder-suicide.

Once heard a District Attorney preach "there's no woman in the world worth criminally ruining your life over son" -- the sermon went un-debated.
