The Clark County Coroner’s Office identified two men involved in a murder-suicide in North Las Vegas on Wednesday as Alberto Gutierrez Jr., 44, and Hamlet Similien, 22, both of North Las Vegas.
Gutierrez allegedly shot and killed Similien after an argument outside an apartment in the 3100 block of Plumwood Lane, North Las Vegas Police said.
Gutierrez then shot and killed himself inside his apartment in the 3100 block of Orangewood Lane after a standoff with North Las Vegas Police, authorities said.
Similien died from a bullet wound to the head, officials said.
