Man accused of making 911 hang-up calls appears in court

A man police suspect called Henderson 911 operators more than 3,600 times made his first appearance in Henderson Justice Court on Monday, where a date was set for a preliminary hearing. After a paperwork error by Henderson Police put the case on hold last week, Tuy Thai, 35, today was ordered to appear at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 5 for a preliminary hearing. Thai faces two counts of unlawful use 911 and is being held at the Henderson Detention Center on $2,000 bail. Police said they suspect Thai of making more than 3,600 calls and then hanging up.   1. This person obviously has some mental health problems and all the government will do is put him in jail.

    Stupid is as stupid does. Never mind trying to find out why this really happens and help this guy.
