Fatal car accident
A two-vehicle accident on State Route 163 near Laughlin on Friday killed one person and injured at least one other.
The accident happened around 4:10 p.m. in the eastbound lanes west of Christmas Tree Pass Road, Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Jeremie Elliott said. He confirmed that one person was killed and another was airlifted to a local hospital. Elliott did not know the injury status of the person injured and did not know if anyone else had been hurt.
Elliott said the accident was off the road and the traffic lanes were not disrupted.
