Police investigate attempted bank robbery

Metro Police are searching for a man who threatened to rob and shoot people Tuesday in a bank in the western valley. Police said the suspect had approached the teller around 11:10 a.m. at the bank near Fort Apache Road and Tropicana Avenue and presented a note demanding money. The note included a threat that he would start shooting. Yet when the teller walked away from the window, the suspect decided to leave without the money or incident, officials said.
