Area of shooting
The Clark County Coroner’s Office has identified the man shot and killed after a party Sunday night in the western valley.
Las Vegas resident Robert Sanchez, 19, died from a shot to his chest.
Metro Police found Sanchez with a bullet wound and another man with a stab wound in an alley near the 4600 block of Elk Springs Avenue, near Mark Twain Avenue and South Arville Street.
Police said the attack on the two men occurred after a confrontation with an unknown number of suspects at a party. Both victims were transported to University Medical Center, where Sanchez was pronounced dead.
