LAS VEGAS — About 60 injured veterans are getting the VIP treatment in Las Vegas during Veterans Day weekend. The annual "Salute to the Troops" weekend started with free American Airlines flights to Las Vegas for veterans and their guests and a red carpet welcoming committee of MGM Resorts employees on Thursday. KTNV reports employees held welcome signs, waved flags, and chanted "USA" as the honored guests arrived.
