Police seek clues in downtown death

A woman was found dead Thursday night in a downtown Las Vegas alley, leaving Metro Police detectives in search of clues.

The woman’s body was found around 7:30 p.m. in the area of 10th Street and Stewart Avenue, police said.

The woman was 55 years old, 5-feet-6 with a medium to heavy build, red hair, and a scar on her left shoulder, police said.
