Man fatally shot at apartment complex identified

A man shot to death at a Las Vegas apartment complex Monday has been identified as Tyrolia Belt, 40, of Las Vegas, the Clark County Coroner’s Office said.

Belt died from multiple gunshot wounds to his head and torso, officials said.

Metro Police found Belt dead in the 5000 block of Madre Mesa Drive, near the North Las Vegas Airport.

Police said officers were investigating reports of gunfire at the complex at 9:22 p.m. on Monday when they discovered Belt. The shooting appeared to have stemmed from an argument, police said.
