A school bus with only the driver onboard crashed Thursday morning into a patio wall at an Irish pub, Metro Police officials said. The bus was making a left turn onto Cameron Street around 9:15 a.m. when it crashed into a sedan. Police said the bus driver then hit the gas instead of the brakes and sped into the concrete wall outside McMullan’s Irish Pub, 4650 West Tropicana Ave., just east of Tropicana and South Decatur Boulevard. The headline indicates the bus was empty, but the injury to the driver indicates that it was not, in fact, empty. The article gets it right so I forgive y'all.
