A portion of the Summerlin HOV Flyover Bridge South will be closed to traffic from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday for a federally mandated inspection.
The bridge, designed to provide carpool drivers easier access to the U.S. 95 Highway carpool lanes, will be closed from Durango Drive to Rainbow Boulevard. Nevada Department of Transportation officials will inspect the bridge, which opened in July, in accordance with the National Bridge Inspection Standards.
