KSNV reports that an apartment complex fire killed one person and caused severe damage to an apartment complex, Nov. 3.

One person died in a two-alarm fire that broke out Saturday at Foothill Village Apartments, near Tropicana Avenue and Jones Boulevard, Clark County spokesman Dan Kulin said.

Clark County firefighters arrived at the complex at 6255 W. Tropicana Avenue about 6:30 p.m. Kulin said the fire affected two apartments, and one person was found dead inside.

The fire caused $100,000 in damage.

Kulin said Clark County firefighters are investigating the cause.
