Domestic disturbance
One man is in custody after Metro Police and SWAT responded to a domestic disturbance in a northwest Las Vegas Valley home where occupants were barricaded inside the home.
The incident happened around 7:10 p.m. on Fountain Walk Street, near Grand Teton Drive and Hualapai Way, police said.
Around 10:20 p.m. occupants of the home came out voluntarily and one man was arrested, police said.
No injuries were reported and the incident is under investigation, police said.

Of course he was arrested, He was probably the instigator. Domestic disturbance ? Hmmm ? What ? Barricaded ? like in what really denoted that ? surrounded themselves with oil barrels ? and yet they came out voluntarily ? And just how many occupants were in the home ? Why did they barricade themselves ? Seriously, my education level isn't as high as college, but damn if I couldn't write a better clip. sorry, but if SWAT came out, I think there should be more of descriptive reason as to why. My suggestion is to tell more of the story, or don't tell it at all.
"One man is in custody after Metro Police and SWAT responded to a domestic disturbance in a northwest Las Vegas Valley home where occupants were barricaded inside the home."
Barricaded? More likely they just wouldn't answer the door or talk to the police.
Is there a law that makes answering the door mandatory?
Isn't there a right to remain silent?
Exactly what materials did they use to "barricade" themselves in the house and how?
Inquiring minds with a bit too much time would like...
In addition to Metro and Swat, a hazmat truck was also there and at least 25 off duty police, In their personal vehicles. I thought for sure they had raided a huge meth lab based upon the number of vehicles and type responding.
