Downtown Las Vegas restaurant begins offering vegan menu

Triple George Grill

It’s tough to be a vegetarian in a city full of steakhouses, much less a vegan.

Triple George Grill, a restaurant at Third Street and Stewart Avenue downtown, sounds anything but vegan. Still, it’s fulfilling a customer request by offering items to fit that diet.

“We had many guests ask for vegan menu items as they seek healthy dining options,” said Seth Schorr, chief executive officer of Fifth Street Gaming, which operates the restaurant. “It was a natural for us to create a special menu that works for a vegan lifestyle.”

Menu items include a grilled vegetable platter with a balsamic reduction, vegan “chicken” marsala and bruschetta, ravoli and a vegan burger. Fridays specials are made from produce from the nearby farmers market.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and 4 to 10 p.m. Saturday. For reservations, call 702-384-2761.
