A semi-truck hauling bananas overturned Wednesday on northbound Interstate-15 north of Lamb Boulevard, near Nellis Air Force Base.
Nevada Highway Patrol Troopers were called to the scene around 4:50 p.m., trooper Loy Hixson said.
The driver of the semi-truck had veered off in to the dirt median and overturned while trying to steer the truck back onto the roadway, Hixson said.
Traffic on the freeway is being diverted to Lamb Boulevard.
The northbound lanes are still blocked and will reopen after the bananas are unloaded off the truck and tow-truck drivers are able to lift the truck back upright , Hixson said.
No injuries were reported and no hazardous materials were onboard the truck, Hixson said.
